At the beating heart of Real Brazil Futsal Academy, you'll find the dynamic duo of Fernando Oliveira and Roberto Okitoi. Originally from Brazil, soaked in the pulsating rhythms of futsal and football since birth. They've fully embraced the essence of the beautiful game, becoming deeply connected to it. From players to mentors, driven by a mission to sculpt exceptional athletes and individuals, Fernando and Roberto want to make a difference in children’s lives through sport.​​

Our Philosophy
At Real Brazil, our approach prioritizes respecting each player's individuality while fostering their development in a supportive environment. We believe in training homogeneous groups, matching players with similar technical abilities or slightly higher to encourage growth.
Our training programs are tailored to each group's age and skill level, focusing on technical, motor, and tactical aspects. Decision-making and creativity are emphasized through conceptual games and actual gameplay, allowing students to solve challenges and showcasing their progress. We limit the number of players per session to ensure personalized attention and quality development.
Our experienced Coaches are not just football instructors; they are educators instilling values such as companionship, determination, discipline, solidarity, leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.​​

COACH FERNANDO OLIVEIRA
Fernando's journey in football began on the streets of Sao Paulo, where his three older brothers instilled in him a love for the game that has never waned. His early exposure to various sports, including futsal, handball, basketball, and tennis, equipped him with a diverse skill set that would later enhance his coaching abilities.
At 14, Fernando's commitment to football intensified, leading him to train with top-level players and coaches. His first taste of professional competition came in 2003 when he participated in the prestigious Copa Sao Paulo - Juniors. Subsequently, he represented Clube Atletico Taboao da Serra professionally before transitioning to amateur and university leagues while pursuing studies in administration.
Upon moving to Australia in 2008, Fernando began coaching kids as a volunteer, driven by his passion for the sport. Despite the challenges of establishing himself as a full-time coach in Australia, he persisted, eventually becoming the technical director of one the country's largest academies to then co-found the Real Brazil Futsal Academy in the Sunshine Coast in 2023. Fernando's unwavering passion, coupled with his extensive experience and commitment to learning, underscores his dedication to shaping the future of football through coaching excellence.
COACH ROBERTO OKITOI
Roberto, with a rich background in Brazilian futsal and soccer, has left an indelible mark on the sport. His journey from playing at a high level for renowned clubs during his youth to representing his university in various local, national, and international competitions underscores his deep-rooted passion and commitment. Transitioning to coaching approximately 15 years ago, Roberto's move from Brazil to Australia in 2014 was fueled by a fervent desire to cultivate Australian youth talent in both futsal and football, on and off the pitch.
Since 2015, Roberto has played an integral role in numerous clubs and academies in NSW, tirelessly contributing to their advancement with his unwavering passion and profound knowledge of the sport.
Furthermore, Roberto's leadership extended to managing one of the country's largest academies and serving as the technical director for more than 8 years, garnering widespread recognition for his expertise and dedication. His friendship with Fernando and their shared love for futsal and football in Brazil, blossomed into a fruitful partnership in Australia, where they collaborated mentoring numerous players and achieving notable successes until co-founding the Real Brazil Futsal Academy in the Sunshine Coast in 2023.

Both Fernando & Roberto’s coaching expertise has seen them develop numerous youth squads and led teams to triumph in prestigious national competitions such as the FA National Futsal Championships, FQ State Titles, Gold Coast International, Futsal Oz in Melbourne, Sydney Futsal Cup, and the JSFL League in WA.​​
